A battery charger is intended to charge one or more batteries. With intelligent battery chargers, charging stops automatically when the battery is full, most Victron battery chargers are intelligent battery chargers. Victron battery chargers have many options and many of these battery chargers can charge multiple batteries at the same time.
Phoenix battery chargers
The Phoenix battery charger has two main outputs over which the full charging current is distributed. The third output has a limited charging current, 4A, and is available to charge a starter battery, for example.
The battery charger has an internal fan and is protected against short circuits and high ambient temperatures. This battery charger is a fully high-frequency battery charger.
The self-learning software in the micro controller automatically optimizes the charging process. This takes into account the way in which the connected batteries are used.
The internal electronics are protected against moisture and dirt by a special coating. This ensures that the charger lasts longer.
