The Cyrix battery separator is a microprocessor controlled relay for a maximum current of 230A. This is for disconnecting systems with a LiFePO4 battery.
The Cyrix decouples when the control input voltage becomes free floating. When the battery voltage recovers, the output voltage of the BMS rises and the Cyrix reconnects after 30 seconds. Three attempts are made to reconnect the Cyrix. If the battery voltage then rises to 26V or more for 30 seconds or more, the Cyrix will reconnect.
